Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD (Suffering Is Absolutely Unnecessary) TO THE BIBLE ...We who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST, although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:3 NASB LET'S TALK Sylvester and Cyril were engaged in a hot argument. Cyril held the opinion that Christ only came to save us from sin, and that suffering would end only when we get to Heaven. Sylvester, however, affirmed that Jesus Christ has delivered the Christian from suffering and launched him into a life of absolute success, health, victory and abundance. He was eventually able to convince Cyril of this truth from the scriptures. Sadly, there are Christians like Cyril who believe suffering (sickness, lack, failure, defeat, death, etc.) is an unavoidable reality of life. The Bible, however, lets us know otherwise. Everything you would ever require for a glorious and successful life has already been provided by God. The works were finished from the foundation of the world. Now, when the Bible says the works were finished from the foundation of the world (Hebrews 4:3), it means you don't have to struggle, for everything concerning your success, health and prosperity has been taken care of. You've entered God's rest; you're not called to suffer defeat: ...His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue) (2 Peter 1:3 AMPC). For the Christian, suffering is absolutely unnecessary. If you'd pay attention to God's Word, and make certain to do what He says, you'd live a fulfilled life. Believe and receive this truth today with faith. You've been established on the path of success and victory. God did it ever before you came on the scene. He made you a success and ordained your prosperity before you were born. Nothing in this life is too good for you, for you're the seed of Abraham, called to a life of power, glory and virtue. Go Deeper 2 Peter 1:3; Hebrews 4:10 Pray Dear heavenly Father, I praise you and rejoice at your Word that has made me realise your eternal plans of success, prosperity, progress and victory for my life. I'm grateful to know that you've already ordained me to a life of victory and triumph, in Jesus Name. Amen. AFFIRMATION TRAIN 5th October
I affirm that this is my season and my time! I am mightily blessed of the Lord. I have entered into God's rest, and I have ceased from all struggles. I am an heir of blessing; therefore, there's no enchantment or divination against me. Everywhere I go, it shall be said of me, 'Look at what the Lord has done!' The hand of God is on me, and I am lifted above the storms that ruin men's lives. I am blessed on all sides; of my increase and progress, there shall be no end. I am the apple of God's eyes, and He has crowned me with lovingkindness and tender mercies; He has filled my mouth with good things; my youth is renewed like the eagle's. Hallelujah! I am so blessed; my name keeps coming up for the right opportunities. I am not a part of the suffering masses, the Spirit of God has separated me for blessing. The little that I put in turns out to be successful because of the blessing of God that is at work in me. Glory to God! This is something to shout about. Keep saying it, don't stop talking it. Remember, your mouth is the edge of a weapon. Refuse to be quiet 🤐 KEEP TALKING THE WORD, DON'T STOP SPEAKING IT.
